History:
Last year there were 12 events in five states with 300 competitors. This is hands down the largest skateboard competition for school kids on the East Coast! We’re all about fun, stress free comps. Hoodlum Pro, Toebee Parkhurst judges, as does Eric Breton and Adam Fearing. See Projectboz.com

April 25 Garden SK8, Pine Brook, NJ

Introduction:
Riders age 20 and under with separate categories for boys and girls.
Elementary Schooled (through age 11)
Middle Schooled (age 12-15)
High Schooled (age 16-20)
There are bowl, mini-ramp and street competitions at each event.
Top three riders in each event, at all competitions qualify to compete in the Finals.
The best overall skater in bowl, mini-ramp and street competitions combined at the Finals wins a free week at Camp Woodward for the High Schooled boy and girl and a discounted week at Camp Woodward for the Middle and Elementary Schooled boys and girls.

Competition Format:
Boys and then girls Elementary Schooled first.
Boys and then girls Middle Schooled second.
Boys and then girls High Schooled third.

Bowl happens first and is untimed runs with speed, tricks and use of terrain being the judging focus. Riders are encouraged not to be repetitious or to push. Rebates are given on the first hit only.

Mini-Ramp happens second and is untimed runs with judging based on tricks, variety, amplitude, and overall style. Rebates are given on the first hit only.

Street happens last in timed jams. Judging is based on tricks, variety, use of terrain, difficulty, amplitude, and style.

Registration is 11:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. Each comp begins around 1:00 p.m.
